 Great weekend for George at Castle Hill ShowRiding Kate Wallace's mare "Wondaree Sprite", George won 2 events at this weekend's Castle Hill Show. On Friday in the 1.20m class George was fastest of the 17 horses in the jump off, and in todays 1.35m MiniPrix they were the only double clears from a field of 30 competitors. George was delighted with the hot but careful mares performance over the weekend. This is his best performance on her since gaining the ride last year. George's other mount, Ozbred was in the jump off rounds of both classes and jumped well but not careful enough to catch Sprite. Sprite was bred by Kate at her Wondaree Performance Horse Stud in Victoria. George will now head to Camden show next weekend with both horses. Excellent work by Lana, LeeAnn, Laura, Louise, Eva, Wanda, Monika, Sandra, .A few light showers, but nothing to disrupt our day. Thanks to Amy, Gail and Gemma for being excellent demo riders. Next Wednesday 18th, we will be having John Kohnke as a guest speaker and he will be going through all the questions in the Intro and Level 1 Horsemanagement exams and definatively answering all the questions on Nutrition and Equine digestion.  Coach Training at SIEC 25th Feb 2009. We conducted our Coach Training session at SIEC toaday with great success. An NCAS Exam was in progress and as several of our trainees were riding as demonstration riders we were given permission by State coordinator Debbie Bugden to also train out there. We had stay well away from the exam in progress but it afforded our trainees a wonderful opportunity to familiarise themsleves to the exam venue. It wont be long and they will all be doing the exams themselves. Great riding and teaching; Sandra, Jam, George, Gail, Louise, Wanda, Britta, Monica, Ashley, Tim, Laurra, Eva, Lynn,Harry.
