Coach Training at Teamj is both fun and rewarding. Chrissie is an experienced EFA NCAS Level 2 Coach Educator and Assessor and is assisted by other Coach Educators who bring additinal expertise and assessment oportunities to Teamj training sessions. Training days are held every Wednesday ( please check What's on in 2009). Two day workshops are held throughout the year as well as additional discipline specific workshops. How do I get a career in Coaching? Coaching can be a very rewarding and enjoyable occupation and the Coach training system in Australia is one of the most admired in the world. Equestrian Coaches in Australia are trained and accredited by the EFA (Equestrian Federation of Australia) via the Federal Government’s National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS). EFA NCAS Coaches are endorsed by the Equine Industry, the Sports Industry and the Federal Government. To commence coach training, coaches should make contact with a Coach Educator who can guide them through their learning. A list of Coach Educators and accredited Coaches can be found at the EFA National website and all learning resources can be purchased there. Equestrian Federation of Australia EFA Coach Candidates At Johnson Equestrian Services we are proud to have had a 100% success rate in preparing our Coach candidates for their Coaching assessments. Coaches commence at Introductory Coach level and can work their way up through levels 1, 2 and 3, with options to specialise along the way in dressage, showjumping or eventing. Coach training is held weekly at our Nelson training centre in small friendly groups where learning is interactive and supportive. Through the attainment of individual and stand-alone certificates in Horse Management and Riding, candidates work their way towards the Coaching accreditation of their choice. Coach Training at Nelson 11th Feb 09. A very special day- we had National Coaching Director Nathan Holmen and Sports Psychologist John Crampton as our special guests for the day. They were videoing lessons by members of our training team to create resources for future National Assessor & Coach Educator Training courses. Congratulations to all of our team for their coaching, riding, feedback and allied contributions. The inclusion of a vaulting training session by Lyn & Krystle was an added highlight.
